Saw Alicia today for a cut blow dry and style. The finished hair style was beautiful nothing was to much trouble. She was genuine, welcoming and professional. Thank you Alicia do much for making my experience enjoyable I left feeling amazing :)

My daughter gave me a $175 gift voucher for Maurice Meade for Xmas 2020, couldn’t find it, thought it may have got scooped up with Xmas wrappings and boxes. And placed in recycle bin never to be sent again.
One week past the expiry date if was found I contacted admin with the hope they still might honour it. No such luck! they wouldn’t even consider it, $175 down the drain and straight into Maurice Meades pocket ( money for jam) Never again will I ask for a gift voucher for Maurice Meade or step foot into a MM salon based on their dismissive attitude..

Had booked in with a colourist and when i arrived, the colourist i was booked in with was doing someone else's hair and i was swapped to another colourist. I was most unhappy as this colourist clearly wasn't experienced and kept walking off during the appointment. In the end she didn't do a good job, did not get the foils to the root line and the colour was also darker than requested. It almost looks like a balyage when i requested foils. I have to go back to get my colour fixed as it looks so bad. The manager is really rude when arranging the redo, when she was the person who swapped the colourists initially. I always bring my own coffee as they never seem to offer coffee at the salon - which isn't good for the premium prices paid. Customer service has much to be desired.

Plenty of other salons who provide better customer service than MM. Dont waste your time.

Been going to Maurice Meade for a few years but refuse to pay the price increase. Went to a local hairdressers, done just as good a job for fraction of the cost

Staff always good but ridiculous price increase forced, wasn’t told when I made my booking, have to now pay extra $25 for your hair to be dried off ! Not allowed to not have it dried ... now all blond colour includes smart blond extra $35 cost for extra chemical that I don’t want and don’t like but not a choice. Covid has left most of us having to be careful with $ Mead is tone deaf and hiked up their prices up. Not going back.

Thank you Taneeka for a beautiful colour and getting rid of my brassy tones! Lovely apprentice who looked after me at basin and styled and trimmed beautifully by the very talented Scot hairdresser. Worth every cent to have people look after your hair as good as this, Compliments aplenty, will be returning!

I was giving MM another chance after 3 years and I won’t be back. The cut is okay, not entirely happy with it as I find myself fiddling about with it trying to get it how I like. Not a good recommendation when you’ve just paid $175. I expect to come out feeling fabulous whereas I headed straight to the ladies with a comb and hairspray. What I do feel is the high pressure to purchase products for your hair and this seems to be the priority rather than focussing on the haircut.
I think they should start justifying the prices they charge and live up to tgeir motto.

I love when a stylist can cut my curly hair to keep my curls. This hasn’t happened on my last 2 visits to MM Booragoon. Very disappointed in the cut I received last week. I’ve lost my curls again and the style I received is unsuitable for the shape of my face. Only 20 minutes was spent on my cut and it shows. Not happy.

I was excited to get my balayage and my haircut updated given due to work and travel I hadn't been to the hairdresser in some time. I had an initial review of my hair and explained what I wanted prior to my appointment.

I was not consulted about the colour blond I wanted the balayage to be and despite showing pictures of dark blond, that was not what I got. During the colour, my colourist left me to attend to other customers 5 times!!! this is whilst she was actually putting colour on my head. I ended up with cold peroxide blonde ends to go wth my warm naturally light brown roots. Not the look I was after.

Then for the cut I got some Spanish guy who despite seeing the fact that I have fine, curly hair decided to chop into my hair giving me loads of layers after I asked for a blunt cut. I left looking like a 50 yr old with a bowling ball on her head after he curled and then actually teased my hair WTF?

There is one receptionist there who swans around like she's on a catwalk making bitchy comments about people and laughing, not a nice friendly atmosphere at all. I exchanged knowing looks with another customer whilst she was doing this, it really created a nasty feeling, like the staff aren't really invested in making you feel your best.

I have had my hair done in international cities and they are far more welcoming and friendly because they realise that being bitchy and isolating your paying customer is not good for business.

Actually look and listen to what your customer wants, give it to them and it will be a salon worth visiting.

After I told my friends of my experience they all said they had or heard similar reviews - not worth it for the price.

I have since then had to have all of my hair cut off and into a super short bob to get rid of all the damage and layers within 2 weeks of visiting MM.

I have had my hair cut with ***** a few times and must say he does a good job at cutting hair, really you should have this from every hair stylist but its not always the case.

I normally pay $130 for a hair cut and blow dry not cheap by any means, I can get it cut in the city for the same price or even a little cheaper. I visited the salon yesterday Wednesday 18/9 and was charged $175 for a cut, ***** said he would do a treatment for an extra $10 so I expected my bill to be $145 Max. I do get my haircut ever 5 to 6 weeks and I get my hair coloured every 5 weeks but at these prices I will not be back. I don't blame ***** I'm sure it's down to management. I'm not made of money due to ill health I don't even have an income my husband keeps me.

worst hair cut of my life and 700% dearer than anywhere else plus they keep you waiting 3 hours if you have a colour.

Expensive for nothing . Horrible customer service ..

Gabi does a wonderful hair colour on my hair every time i have been in. People always comment on how great it looks. Justin cuts and styles my hair normally and does a great job and i get lots of compliments but today Ivan did my hair and did a great job too. Rebecca pitched in and washed my hair since everyone was busy and did a great job. Mr Mead should be very proud of the grest staff he has st garden city they are all friendly they make you welcome and most of all they do and provide a great service. So thank you Mr Mead because i always feel good about myself when i leave your salon.

Unfortunately booking a day to have the hair cut done and colour on the phone was very stressful with the Reception area. I decided to make a trip in to do the booking and at the same time organise to fit me in on the same day . So they weren’t busy and could book me in in an hours time . Lucky me I had Suat to attend to me . Omg thanks to him he understood what I wanted and cut away he did . So happy it was a good short hair cut with style and stress free and happy . Having ones hair cut and with style is very important . It’s all about looking fabulous , feeling good and most of all elegantly wearing it with confidence .Thanks once again Suat .

I had interaction with two lovely young girls at Maurice Mead at Garden City today - one who washed my hair and gave a great scalp massage, and the second stylist who blow dried my hair - both were a delight to deal with and proved to be great ambassadors for the salon.

I had an awesome colour from ? Nicola and ?Adam who usually work at Karrinyup. They did a fantastic job and are definately a credit to your company. Thank you ?

Wonderful- fast but when describing what I wanted done he got it right.

They ruined my hair and charged me $700 for it. Never going back there and has put me off getting my hair done again for a long time.

My hair was coloured by Kyle (who is normally from the Subiaco branch) and my haircut was by Justin.

I had never met Kyle before and was very impressed with him. He is an absolutely lovely man and had exceptional customer service skills. I was happy with my colour and the technique used to apply it. Kyle also displayed care and attention when he washed my hair and his scalp massage was divine! I hope he can work on a permanent basis for the Garden City branch, as he would be a great asset!

Justin cut my hair and he is the Manager of the branch. The sole reason why I have remained a long-term customer at the Garden City branch is because of the exceptional customer service and genuine respect and kindness that I have consistently received from Justin.

Justin takes the time to listen to how I want my hair cut and he never disappoints! Not only is he a very skilled Senior hairdresser, but he’s fantastic at making the customer feel comfortable and I enjoy our chats!!

I cannot praise Justin highly enough!

Suat is a first-stylist and always greets you with a smile.

Made a last minute appointment so not with my usual colourist/stylist whom I love. The colour is darker than expected / planned but I think I will like it once used to it. The cut is fine, just a basic trim so looks much the same which I am ok with.

I am always made to feel so comfortable in the Garden City salon! Suat manages to blow dry my hair perfectly & also does it in good time, so I can head back to work in-time! Justin & Bec always go out there way to make sure I am well looked after too. A really nice team vibe in the Garden City salon! Thank you ?

No happy with hair colour . And didn't wash it properly . I had some bad reaction from the hair colour . My scalp was burning all night couldn't sleep . My scalp all Sore and blistered and some discharge from the wound . ???????

Firstly my hair coloured almost black after discussing the fact I need my hair lighter because of grey outgrowth. Then they offered to fix it by putting in more foils and covering that with blood red. Resulting in a screaming red hair colour which was never my goal. The first colour stylist telling me people think they know better.
The second attempt explaining that the colour turned that red because of refoiling for the second time. If you know that would be the outcome why do you put pure red on bleached foils. Then everybody got really sour and offended because I complained about beetroot red hair. They allocated the shampoo girl to dry off my hair and she had no idea what she was doing. I then continued to blow dry my own hair after she arrogantly told me that I did not pay for a blow dry so she’s just so drying my hair off. Doesn’t matter how she does it.
Pathetic and very disappointed because I go to ME and pay a bucket full of money then to be treated by these unqualified people and then they are the ones having the attitude
