First time having a haircut with Quentin, I had to take my 2 small kids in with me last minute and they were very warm and welcoming. Quentin is a true artist at cutting hair definitely would recommend him, he has the experience, skill and the vision 5 stars for him!

Coral was an absolute professional in all ways yesterday.

I felt safe and relaxed with Coral as she fully explained what was to happen in the session and how my color would look once it was applied.

I was treated politely and with respect and really enjoyed Corals ability to connect with me.

She is a talented colorist. I would trust her with my hair color anytime.

Emma and Alan were incredible! I had never been to this salon before and my experience and expectations we’re all blown out of the water!!
My cut and colour was outstanding, as I said to them in the salon I have never left a salon and loved my hair, they changed that!
I was transitioning from very dark hair to light and I came away with such a natural and beautiful blended colour!
The cut was incredible as well, such care and accuracy to achieve exactly what I wanted!

Could not recommend Emma for colour and Alan for the cut more!

For those of us who've been coming to the salon for many months, the last 3 weeks have been a breath of fresh air. The new manager, Quentin, the new staff in Emma and Alan (sorry if I misspelt it) together with Coral (the powerhouse), Jade the friendly/able assistant, and the very talented Phil, are working together really well! The atmosphere is once again fun and professional. Thank you!

As always Phil was attentive, friendly and did a fabulous job colouring, cutting and blow drying my hair.
A notable change in the atmosphere in the salon due to some recent senior personnel changes.
Coral was her effervescent bubbly self! I met Emma for the first time when she washed and treated my hair, so friendly and did a great job. Can’t wait to catch up with them all next time.

I loved visiting this salon yesterday for the first time... the staff is amazing and very friendly. Alan did a great job by transforming my messy hair into a beauty. 100% recommended and coming back!

My salon experience atT&G port Melbourne last week was excellent. Staff were all friendly and very professional. Salon was quiet and it felt like everything was running smoothly with a sense of calm. I am a regular client & have recently been a bit disgruntled with the way the salon was operating after a new owner & staff turnover. This visit I felt like the the overall experience was back to the way a good T&G salon should be. Definitely moving in the right direction.

Best all round axoereince in this salon ever! Standards are definitely better under the new management. Actually didn’t mind paying the bill .... enjoyed the experience and loved my new hair cut too!

Alison made me feel very comfortable and listened to what I was trying to achieve. I wanted a long bob but after discussion and analysis, we decided after Alison’s recommendation to go with a slightly layered shorter look to be suited to my face shape. She even showed me some tips on how I need to use the hairdryer to style my new hair (instead of straightener over use). Alison was so attentive/caring and friendly and a beautiful person the whole way through and I will definitely be back to her in a few weeks :) thanks lovely. Xx And thanks to my other Aquarian friend there for a relaxing awesome wash / head massage!! Enjoyed my first experience at Toni & Guy :)

Best cut I have had in ages

I booked in for a blow dry for an event as changes to my flight meant my usual hairdresser was unavailable and I needed convenience. I was thoroughly disappointed by the blow dry even having to ‘fix’ it at home. As someone who has a blow dry weekly, and a colour and cut every 6weeks it was slightly insulting to be told that I must colour my hair myself and that a cut would be advisable!
I understand that you need to upsell but don’t insult the clients!!

After seeing my old hairdresser for 10 years, I was nervous going to a new salon because I have very curly hair and thought they wouldn’t understand how difficult it can be. Scott has exceptional experience and skills, and I’m glad I trusted him to do what was best for me. He took the time to show me how to control and look after the curls which is what I was after. It was a pricey cut and colour, but I’m happy with the results.

It was my first appointment with Scott, he was great. Cut and styled my hair perfectly and was great to talk to.

Can’t be any happier about my experience at Toni and Guy Port Melbourne! Headed to my next event straight after and I got so much compliments for my hair through out the day. On top of being a great hairdresser, Scott was so many fun to talk to and I was laughing in tears for the whole time. Will definitely recommend this place to my friends and go back again!

Amazing Alison does it again, left feeling a million dollars after a full head of foils, toner, wellaplex treatment and the perfect cut. Love that she’s so determined to get my hair as healthy as possible and make me feel great. Wonderful experience.

Alison is lovely and is a very good cutter, really knows what she is doing! I have long hair which just wasn’t right. Im glad she didn’t take away my length and just shaped it better, subtle layers (not a hack job like I’ve had others do in the past which always had me fearful of layers)

This was my first time visiting Toni & Guy and Scott was my hairdresser. He was such a genuine and honest person. He went over and above in the way he interacted with me, and the effort and time he put into treating and cutting my hair. I left with a bomb haircut and a smile on my face because the whole experience was awesome! Thank you Scott!

Understood what I wanted and ended up with a great result

Phil was great as usual, can’t fault him in any way... unfortunately though I will no longer be seeing him as new owners have inflated the pricing for the last 2 visits. I’ll miss Phil :(

General experience was ok.. did all the right things by offering drinks etc.. unfortunately though I was quite disappointed with my actual cut - when I got home I realised my hairline around my ears, side burns and neck had been shaved so I lost the natural look that I thought I had specifically asked for.. it was also the most expensive haircut I’ve ever had ($122 for a basic cleanup??).. sorry but won’t be coming back after that

Have been with T&G for a long time and typically have a good experience. Not this time round. Paid a significant amount of money to have the keratin treatment and a cut done. Asked specifically to be put under the drier for the treatment as had a good result previously. Was told it wasn’t required. As result the treatment didn’t work very well and the result isn’t great. Wasn’t happy with the cut either - which was square and worked against the natural shape of my hair. Rang on 5 different occasions over the course of a week to try and get back in to review the treatment and cut and got 1 call back. Was told the salon was too busy which was disappointing given I was getting it done for a specific event. Heard back from them the following week but I’m not keen to go back given my experience. Shouldn’t be this hard. Just disappointed.

I was able to make a last minute booking and all of the staff I encountered were friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Allison was amazing and gave me great advice on how to get my hair healthy again, and really looked after me. Everyone was super friendly, the salon was nice and modern and I left feeling so much better with a fantastic cut, wellaplex treatment and blow dry. I will definitely be going back :)
