I've had the best first experience from Contemporary. I had my hair coloured at a previous salon and it was done wrong. So I contacted Contemporary to help correct it. What can I say? From my consultation with Lily-, I was put straight at ease. She talked me through my different options and had a proper look at my hair. She was professional and lovely. She even gave me a mini sample shampoo to try after I expressed my concerns about the feel of my hair.
The day of my appointment (02/02/22), Emily welcomed me in to the salon in such a kind manner before seating me and getting started with the colouring of my hair. Emily chatted to me, kept me comfortable throughout. (Which helps me a lot, as I have bad anxiety). She offered me a drink and gave me some magazines to read to. Which just adds to a good experience. Next was Lucy, she washed my hair and was just soooo lovely. Always asked if I was comfortable, checked to see if the water wasn't to hot and was just in general really nice. She's an asset to your team, she really is. On to the drying and styling of my hair, I had Lily. Lily is beyond amazing. She gave me some fabulous waves in my hair and even showed me how to do them as I didn't have a clue. Lily was so patient and didn't rush. She took her time to make sure my hair was done to a great standard. Overall you can see that Emily, Lucy and Lily really care about their customers. I'll be making contemporary my usual salon and can't wait to be back. Thank you so much ladies. From one very appreciative customer. :)

I was greeted with a warm welcome from all the staff! Lily cut and blow dried my hair. It was a real treat after all the restrictions of lockdown. It was a lovely experience and I felt like a new person at the end of the appointment. I’ve found it difficult getting back to normality and am still battling with anxiety to go anywhere. Went into the Stockton salon I’ve been going to for many years now, Emily my stylist listened to what I wanted to do to my hair with a lot of patience lol. After seeing Lucy’s colouring on instagram I booked in, I can never fault her. Lucy is amazing every time I go to the salon. Always accommodating and always makes sure my hair is perfect. Lily & Kezziah - My daughter and I loved the atmosphere at the salon. It felt like Christmas. Everyone was (as always) so nice. We both love what you have done to our hair. My hair is unrecognisable from the Brillo pad that I turned up with. How do you always manage to get it so silky?? Thank you x
