As usual I came out of the salon feeling relaxed and pampered after my appointment. Matt always makes my hair look fabulous. Thank you to the whole team!

Blow dry fabulous as usual and lasted easily for the day after when I was going out. Ellie and Anya so welcoming as always.

Eleanor was lovely, really attentive and knew exactly what I wanted the end result of my blow dry to look at. She's so friendly and helpful.

Rachel goes above and beyond every time I have an appointment with her, she knows what will work best and her attention to detail is second to none. I’ve recently swapped extensions from beads to tapes and she worked her magic again, I couldn’t fault anything :) the coffee is also amazing! X

Matt always does an amazing job on my hair. He is exceptionally talented, I can't recommend him highly enough.

Hair day is my favourite day. Eleanor is more than my hairdresser, she's the days entertainment and she always knows just what's right for my hair. I wouldn't trust anyone else to tell me what I can and can't have done.

Lovely welcome by staff on desk with instant offer of hot drink. Rachael was prompt and consulted on how hair had been since last visit and we decided what to do this time. Colour was just what I wanted followed by treatments and blow dry, which never needs further tweaks till next visit. Thank you team Reef

Recently moved to Durham so forced to find a new hairdresser for the first time in more than 10 years. I researched hairdressers in Durham based on Trustpilot reviews and selected Reef as the customer reviews were very positive. I was still very nervous though, going in for my first colour/cut. Rachel was really fantastic though and I'm delighted with the result.....also massively relieved that the colour and cut are just what I was after. I've already booked my next two appointments.

I've been all over and your salon is the most comfortable I've ever felt. I was treat with so much respect and Alex was so lovely and really listened to what I would like.

Rachel does the most glamorous blow dries! I always leave her very capable hands feeling like a million dollars! I have thick, naturally curly, long hair which doesn’t phase her at all. Totally recommend anyone to get their hair done at Reef.

Fantastic as always! Rachel listens to what you want and will.offer opinion when asked. She always has good advice and is professional always making you feel welcome.
Rachel has cut and coloured my hair for a very long time. I have so much trust in her professional ability that if I could I'd leave my hair with her and come back knowing it would look fantastic.
Always leave salon with beautiful hair that seems to last several days and first wash and dry after is brilliant- feels alot more manageable.

I’m not sure how to begin without writing an essay! I moved up from down south and tried a few salons before finding Reefs. I am over two years down the line with Matt and still absolutely thrilled each time I have an appointment, his cutting skills and highlighting are amazing. To say I’m fussy is an understatement but he copes with me so well, listening and understanding what it is I’m trying to achieve.
The whole experience from walking into the salon and greeted every time with a happy, smiling face. The team are amazing and make you feel as if you are their no1 priority. The other stylists are all great, Alex bravely takes me on if Matt is unavailable and Rachael did a fab blowout when I needed a last minute appointment. Give the salon a try as I know you won’t be disappointed!

Eleanor is a breath of fresh air as well as an amazing stylist. Sorting out my damaged locks after a sky dive which the 120 mile per hour winds ripped my hair out of the bobble. After a thorough session of R&R and a blunt cut we are now back on track for great looking hair. Like I’ve just stepped out of a salon ?‍♀️

I love getting my hair done by Rachel. She always takes the time to listen to all of my hair needs, offering help, advice and even styling tips. She is very knowledgeable about the products and let’s me know which ones she would recommend for my particular hair type. The salon itself is clean, pleasant and comfortable and I feel well looked after by the friendly staff there.
I don’t often get time to get my hair done so when I do, I like to enjoy the experience. Each time I go to reef I come out feeling fabulous which is always a sign of a great salon.
